The Boston

List Price $1449.00

Sale $1099.00

One way to experience the excellent quality of the Boston banjo is to close your eyes and compare the sound to other banjos in the same price range. The Boston provides exceptional tone which is far superior to the tone of the die-cast brass tone-rings or aluminum rims of the imports. You'll progress much faster and enjoy playing more with a Boston compared to a lower priced import that's hard to play. The Boston banjo makes playing easier because the banjo works with you, not against you.

The Goodtime 2

The Goodtime 2 banjo is fast and easy to play due to the slender, low profile, rock maple neck. The single coordinator rod in the pot allows the player or technician to adjust the action to suit the players needs. The Goodtime 2 is equipped with all geared tuning machines for easy, accurate, and stable tuning. The maple and ebony bridge and top frost head give a crisp, bright sound.

The Goodtime Special

The Goodtime Special and it's openback counterpart are both fast and easy to play due to the slender, low profile of the neck. Comfortable for large and small hands, this slender profile is the same one that is found on our much sought after upper line Deering models. The neck is made of rock maple. This hard, dense wood is very strong and stable. The fretwork is precise and to ensure accurate intonation over the entire fingerboard. The Goodtime Special resonator model weighs only 7 pounds. This makes it ideal for traveling, camping or picnicking on the beach!

The Deluxe

The Deluxe is one of the most popular models of the Deering line. The gloss finish, ebony fingerboard, diamond shaped inlays and extra trim on the back of the resonator and along the edge of the peghead are features that make a more elegant instrument. The mahogany neck and resonator create a sweet eone. Made with the same three-ply maple rim, sand-cast virgin bell bronze tone-ring, zinc flange and nickel plated metal parts that we use on our most expensive banjos, the Deluxe offers a great sound. It is basically the same as the top-of-the-line but without the most costly cosmetics. It's great sounding, great playing and great looking. Dollar for dollar, the Deluxe is one of the best banjo values available anywhere.

Sierra

The Sierra is our most popular model because it is very affordable and you get all the important features that affect tone and playability. Greg Deering himself says that no player is complete without a Sierra banjo. Greg also states that no one can buy a better banjo, maybe a fancier one, but not a better one.
